Images from a New York holiday season.

College Walk at Columbia, dusk

The week between Christmas and New Year’s was a blur between family visiting and (attempting) to relax and enjoy the city in its holiday splendor, and because this is the Manhattan [food] Project, it seems sensible to share some photos of the island proper when, despite the cold weather, the city sparkles.

More photos after the jump.

St. Patrick's Cathedral

The Rockefeller Center tree...cue the Home Alone theme song...

We took the in-laws to Katz's Delicatessen for lunch, which was so delicious (and filling) that there was no way we'd be eating dinner that night.

Times Square at dusk, two days before New Year's Eve.

Now that the holiday rush is over, I’m looking forward to jumping back into the city rhythm and start exploring once more–and sharing those experiences with you all.

Happy New Year!

  1. I loved the photos and do envy your location! A fellow food blogger (Phoo-d) and I will be in NYC in August. Maybe we could grab a drink together or something! Keep it in mind!
